Palazzo Viceregio Cagliari

Erected in 1337 upon the commission of the powerful Aragonese it is possible to visit Palazzo Viceregio of Cagliari nearbythe same Piazza Palazzo. It became the general quarter of the Savoy generals at the threshold of the 19th Century, in 1847 it was stripped by its original service of the political and administrative office of the kingdom; today it is possible to admire its works of major relief, like Salone Consiliare, adorned by the Perugian artist Domenico Bruschi in 1895, which portrayed the most important life scene of the Sardinian people from the Roman age at the end of our days.
Actually Palazzo Viceregio of Cagliari guests the offices of the Prefecture and some of the Province.
