Mare Pineta of Santa Margherita di Pula organizes, with the help of external companies, a wonderful excursion to discover the Is Zuddas Caves, an underground path of more than 500 meters situated at Monte Meana in the municipality of Santadi, ideal for people keen on caving.
A pathway suitable for everyone to admire the fantastic concretions, stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes. Inside the Is Zuddas Caves, you can admire the large rooms whose name is based on the shapes that can be imagined: the Organ Hall, the Theatre Hall, the Eccentric Hall.
Inside the caves there is an important finding, that is the remains of the Prolagus Sardus, an extinct rodent found only in Corsica and Sardinia.
